Not
only does this site exhibit a world class flag but the
park below the worlds largest flying Confederate Battle
Flag is developing and evolving into a truly world class
historical park.
At
the dedication on April 25, 2009, the participant will
revel all day in a collection of the finest Southern
orators and the finest Southern music perhaps ever
assembled.
But
the crowning glory of this grand day will be the
unveiling of 16 tons of Georgia granite in a beautifully
designed park like no other. And what sets this
memorial site apart from any other will be the nature of
the message there for all to read, now and forever.
There
will be 28 large bronze plaques that will tell the
story. The story of valour, courage, honour, devotion
to duty and patriotism in short, our Southern
Heritage. Already, there have been plaques sold, among
others, for Black Confederates, Indian Confederates and
Southern civilians during the War. What is needed are
plaques revealing the historical truth of N. B. Forrest,
Jeff Davis, Hispanic Confederates, the war against
Southern civilians (i.e., Sherman), the Confederate POW
experience, and on and on. Let your imagination guide
you. Each plaque will be about 30 by 20 inches and will
give credit to the donor. Ponder and dwell on the
list below.
Time
is running short...don't miss out!
Help
make this site a true eye opening experience for the
visitor. $2500.00 is the cost of each plaque but the
effect upon our world will be phenomenal.
As of
Jan. 31, 2009 some 20" x 30" inch bronze plaques are
